Batch application of graphs to reduce work time

The current curve editor needs to draw graphs individually.

For now, it is very time consuming.

As before, it is judged that there should be a function that can apply graphs at once.

And the graph store function is no different from revert.

The previous preset configuration is much more economical.

Can you explain more about what exactly you are finding time consuming?

I'm not sure what you are saying about the graph Store button. I assume you love it? ;) It can be useful in many situations, but a of couple of the most common is to recreate the same curve with fewer keys or to try out some different curves and switch back/forth to see which you prefer.

Presets aren't generally very useful for this kind of graph. The preset is very unlikely to produce the desired results without needing manual fix up. When you have to move the handles manually, it's faster to skip applying a preset and just move the handles to get the curve you want. However, we may add buttons for some common handle configurations, like flat or bounce. Also note that you can enable auto Bezier handles which often give you reasonable results.

We may add a "stacked" view for the graph, where each curve would be drawn by itself, stacked vertically. If that doesn't make any sense, like this where each "curve" is a graph of just one curve:
curve
--------
curve
--------
curve
--------
curve
In this view the values would be normalized to limit the height of each curve's graph, so we'd first add a "normalized" view.

There are three major curve graphs I use.

ease-in, ease-out, ease-inout

And my work is a job that takes a lot of bounce, and the changed curve editor has to manually grab and edit all these graphs one by one.

There is no batch adjustment in the graph.

This takes several times more time compared to using the existing graph preset.

It is also a good idea to create animations with only graphs with fewer keys.

However, in order to use the pose to pose technique, a little more key is required. There is a limit to using graphs alone.

The store's save graph function is also not useful as it is not very different from the undo.

And because it saves the entire graph, it is inefficient when modifying the graph between keys and keys.

And many Korean users are collecting various opinions on the changed Curve Editor.

If you give us your email address, we'd like to collect and deliver feedback later.

Oh so you're the owner of that twitter account! Watching what you create there is always a pleasure :D

Our email is contact@esotericsoftware.com but feel free to post your feedback here in the forum! Unless of course, you want to show some examples that show material that you don't want to be public.

I'd actually agree about having the old presets at least to start a project: you select all the keys, apply a preset, then tune the ones that look bad. For this a window like the old graph would not be that bad.

Sorry for the late response.

These are easily achieved in the new graph. By default when you set a Bezier key you get ease in-out. Dragging one handle gives you ease-in, dragging the other gives you ease-out.

In 4.0.34-beta we allow selecting multiple handles and moving them all at the same time. Once it is released, please give it a try and let us know if it helps your use cases!

By default box select does not select handles, because you normally want to select keys, not handles. However, in 4.0.34-beta if you hold alt then box select will select only handles, not keys.
gunspike さんが書きました:This takes several times more time compared to using the existing graph preset.
One reason the presets in the old graph seemed useful is because you couldn't see the value curve. It was giving you a curve, but not a good one!

Store is very different from undo because it allows you to make many changes, then go back and forth between the old and new curves. You can see the old curves while you work on the new curves, which is very useful for replacing an entire curve with one that has fewer keys. Also the favor tool allows you to move keys toward or away from the stored curve.

I don't understand, can you explain this in more detail?
