  • Aligning versions in numerical order.

Hello,

I want to align versions in numerical order.
I think it used to be, but when I upgraded Spine version, it was changed like the attaching image.
It bother me that newer versions lined up after older versions...

If there are any solutions, please let me know.

Thanks!

Please try to download and install the latest Spine launcher (3.8.70).
I'm not able to reproduce the strange version listing you have there.

Dear Shiu

Thank you for your reply!!
I’ll try it...!

I reinstalled Spine with launcher 3.8.70, but it was not solved...

Now's screenshot is here.

I deleted Spine folder before reinstalling, but the versions menu showed same contents.
Please let me know if you find any other solutions for that.

Did you perhaps write in those Spine version numbers manually?

I deleted Spine folder before reinstalling, but the versions menu showed same contents.

Was this folder the Spine installation folder, or the user home folder?

User home folder:
Windows: %UserProfile%\Spine
Mac: <user home folder>/Library/Application Support/Spine
Linux: <user home folder>/.spine

You could try renaming the "updates" folder and then start Spine. It will look for the latest version of Spine then. If you need a previous version, you can then enter it in manually.

Spine actually never sorted the versions, so I've created an issue for it here

Dear Shiu,

Thank you for your kind instruction!

Was this folder the Spine installation folder, or the user home folder?
Yes, it was the Spine installation folder.

I found "Spine" folder at "Application Support", but I couldn't find it...
Here is my finder's screenshot. (Sorry some parts of folder's name are Japanese.)

Anyway, I appreciate that you added it to issues list!
Because I'm working on some projects which is using each different version, so if it was improved I would be happy.

I'm not very familiar with Mac, but if you go to Spine Settings > Files and press Open on Hotkeys or Backups you should end up in a sub-folder of the Spine user directory.

Ohhhhhhhh, I can delete the versions I don't need!
Your explanation was right, I could find the Spine user directory with the way you explained.
Thank you so much!!!
