  • [feature request?] Suppressing all constraints on hotkey

I've returned to working with Spine recently, and first of all I'm impressed with how much the software has grown since I've first tried it out. My compliments to the team! I'm also looking forward to using the next version. Does anyone know when it's due?

I've been having a lot of fun rigging skeletons with multiple constraints to improve the animator's workflow. One of the things I'm struggling with is how hard it is to edit a bone (length, position, rotation) when multiple constraints are active. I've found no easy way to disable all these constraints temporarily other that opening them all one by one and sliding their 'mix' to 0.

It would speed up my workflow tremendously if I could just hit a hotkey that temporarily disables all constraints, to later hit it again to have them restored.

If this feature already exists, please let me know!

Thanks,

Glad you are liking the latest version! We are really close to releasing 4.0, just need to wrap a few things up. A little more runtimes to port, release blog post, etc.

I think your idea is a good one! We've added a Disable Constraints hotkey in 4.0.73-beta. In 4.1 we'll add a warning icon when this (and a few other things, like Hide Selection) are active, as it can be confusing. For the same reason, the hotkey is not bound by default.

That's great to hear, even more reason to look forward to v4!

Thanks a lot, and for your quick reply,
