Could not automatically set the AtlasAsset
Hi everyone,
I'm getting these error messages when trying to import into Unity.
I have seen several posts on this same issue, but have had no luck resolving the issue
Here are some of the other posts for those that are also struggling:
- http://en.esotericsoftware.com/forum/Unity-Import-Error-15600
- http://en.esotericsoftware.com/forum/Unity-not-importing-atlases-correctly-anymore-14330
Info:
- I am on Unity 2020.3.4.f1
- I am using Spine 4.0.25
- The spine file I have is using skins.
Pack Settings:
Things I have double-triple checked/ tried
- I tried setting flatten paths to on
- I tried using the .json export option
- I tried dragging the spine files using Windows File Explorer (and not directly into Unity)
- I made sure that all of our spine runtime files are up to date (we are using spine-unity-4.0-2021-08-16.unitypackage)
Any help would be very much appreciated!
I figured it out. There was a warning message (a slot was hidden).
This was causing all sorts of issues with importing.
Make sure your exports are warning free!
We are sorry for the troubles, thanks for letting us know you could resolve the problem!
A single accidentally hidden slot should actually not cause no atlas being assigned. Did you receive any other error description in the Console window upon import (or when re-importing the directory of your skeleton assets)? If not, could you perhaps send us the problematic exported assets, then we can have a look at what exactly is going wrong, and perhaps provide at least a better error description. You can attach it to a forum posting, or send it to contact@esotericsoftware.com.
