Topic. I don't know what happened, but I simply can't Export my Spine files with this update.

OMG :tear:
I saved work at 4.0.48.
I can't go back to 4.0.47.

Same here, hope they will fix it soon

Sorry folks! We are working on a fix which will be released later today. 4.0.49 will be able to open your projects saved with 4.0.48.

Oooff, my heart literally stopped today when I tried to export. Hope you guys will be able to fix this :detective:

Indeed! That bug worked better than my morning coffee... That is a valuable lesson tho; don't leave your work to be exported in the morning. Or don't use the latest version of the program 😛

You can Cntrl+Shift+E for a one time access to the export dialog.

@Mario, Thanks for the update 🙂 .When I tried this I got a dialog saying I couldn't export cause I haven't selected an output directory, then the export dialog appeared. Is there a way to manually clear the selected output directory? If so I'd be able to access the export dialog again right now. Even if it's opening an hex editor and manually editing the project file or is there a user settings file I could delete. I too urgently need access to Spine's exporter.

Haha, exactly, same thing with coffee and morning exports here

TEMP FIX

If you already have exported the project once you can mark "skeleton.json" as read-only in windows explorer. This causes the export to fail (Ctrl+Shift+E), which in turn, opens the export dialog and asks for new path to save, now just unmark "skeleton.json" as read-only and it will export.

Very sorry for the trouble! It's been fixed in 4.0.49, available now.

Another workaround in 4.0.48 is to open the welcome screen, then you can open the export dialog. This is how we missed it when testing! :headdesk:
