Hello,

I am currently using Spine Beta 4.1.27 for its webp conversion capabilities. I am running into two main issues when attempting to use the webp settings with the JSON exporter.

1.) The webp exports are not respecting draw order
2.) None of the compression settings work or makes any difference to the export

Please let me know if we can troubleshoot these issues.

Are you exporting WEBP or AWEBP?

I exported WEBP with max compression and got 2.56MB:

And again with no compression and got 3.59MB:
http://n4te.com/x/5005-test-nocompress.webp

In both of those animations I set a draw order key to move spineboy's head to be on top of his face soon after he leaves the portal, and I see that working.

If you are still having trouble, it may be that we need to try it with your project. You can email the project file and images to: contact@esotericsoftware.com

Got it, thanks. Sorry I missed you are using WEBP with the texture packer rather than image export. I see the problems, thank you for the clear presentation.

We've fixed at least some of the issues in 4.1.29-beta. The WEBP failure the first try is fixed. Compression and other settings work now. I tried your skeleton JSON and atlas export in spine-player and it appears to render correctly. Clipping is respected. I'm not sure about additive and the draw order. The atlas shouldn't affect the draw order.

At any rate, please try 4.1.29-beta and if you have any remaining problems, we'll be happy to help! For the draw order we'll likely need instructions on how we can see the problem (eg which skin, animation, etc to look at).
