I actually haven't purchased Spine (still experimenting with the Demo) - and I know that software can't be "owned" by its purchaser, (not really) - but I am curious regarding how much liberty I have after I lay down my cash, once and for all, to use Spine on a daily basis, forever.
1) Must I have an internet connection to use Spine after I have downloaded, installed, registered, confirmed, responded to every purchase email, guaranteed on penalty of death that I am really who I say I am, take an oath of loyalty and, at last, actually begin to use Spine?
Will I be required to periodically "Login" to continue my usage? Will I have to re-verify my identity in any way? Will I be tracked by Esoteric Software every time I do connect to the internet?
2) Can I track down the Spine developers should they ever decide to abandon their development efforts? Can I bring them into an International Court of Software Justice in the case of User Abandonment?
Just curious,
