Skins view allows multiple skins to be viewed at the same time in the viewport. It is especially useful to work on characters that mix and match skins for various gear or body parts.
Left clicking a skin in the
Skins view selects it and makes it the active skin. Only attachments from the active skin can be selected and edited in the viewport. The active skin is always visible and if not pinned it is considered to be applied last.
Right clicking a skin selects it in the
Skins node of the tree view.
All the available skins are listed at the top, with a pin next to each skin. When the pin is clicked, it turns orange to indicate the skin is pinned. When pinned, the skin will appear both in the available skins list and in the pinned skins list.
A skin can be unpinned by clicking the orange pin next to it in either of these two lists.
When at least one skin is pinned, the currently pinned skins are listed at the bottom of the
All pinned skins are visible in the viewport at the same time, starting by applying the bottommost skin first. The order skins are applied is important because if two skins have attachments for the same skin placeholder, the skin higher in the pinned skins list will override the other skin.
The pinned skins in the bottom list can be dragged to change the order they are applied. When unpinned they will be removed from this list.
Click on the icon next to the view menu to add a new empty skin.
